Viriya Chotpanyavisut (b. 1982, Thailand) is an artist who currently lives and works in Bangkok and Paris. He focuses on his ability to stare at banal, everyday things and the power of photography to capture this in images. Chotpanyavisut’s work has been exhibited as part of international festivals and exhibitions including: Le divan des murmures, FRAC Auvergne, France (2017); Thailand Eye, Saatchi Gallery, London (2015); Mystère et boule de gomme, Maison des Arts Georges and Claude Pompidou, Cajarc, France (2013). Solo shows include Unnoticed Light, Schemata Gallery, Bangkok (2016); Urban Microscope and Quelque phares lunaire, Galerie de Multiple, Paris (2012/14).
