Masahito Ono (b. 1983, Japan) is an artist who lives and works in New York. Ono creates installations, photographs, and films that explore memory, the human condition, geopolitical boundaries, and the history, which the world has forgotten or de-experienced. Prior to moving to New York, he was an international video journalist working for global media organizations for nearly a decade. Ono has participated in a number of exhibitions worldwide including: Push Pull, Arnold and Sheila Aronson Gallery, New York (2015); Auckland Festival of Photography, Auckland, NZ (2014, 2015); So Many Things Don't Know, MUSEE F for The Month of Photography Tokyo 2014, Tokyo, Japan (2014); Ping Yao International Photo Festival, Shanxi Province, China (2013); among others.
