Nicolás Vizcaíno Sánchez (b. 1991, Colombia) is an artist either producing in the studio and writing; or joining others in social engaged projects, editing publications and curating exhibitions. In Colombia he has had two solo exhibitions, Mas Allá (2016) and Paraiso Bajo (2017) and has been included in group shows in Valenzuela Klenner Gallery (2017), Espacio KB (2016) and Casa Rat Trap (2015). Internationally he has been part of editorial fairs such as the Art Book Fair of Bergen, in Norway (2015), and the Feira Plana, in São Paulo, Brazil (2015), and recently his work was in a group show in The Box Gallery, Los Angeles (2017). He studied Art and Political Science, and currently investigates the mysteries of “Viche”, a handcrafted drink made by afrodescendant communities on the Colombian pacific coast.
